The BW Severn fleet tugs
The BW Severn fleet tugs "Stanegarth", "Speedwell" and "Severn Active" in the main basin at Gloucester Docks.

Another view of "Speedwell" at Gloucester. The vessel was built by Richard Dunston Ltd of Thorne, Yorkshire in 1968.

"Speedwell" and workboat "Margo Newman" laid up at Purton on 6th April 2006.

"Stanegarth" with mud lighter 20 at Purton on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal. "Stanegarth" was a steam tugboat, built by Lytham Ship Builders in 1910 for the Rea Transport Co of Liverpool. It later passed to British Waterways and was converted to diesel power and given an enclosed wheelhouse in 1957. 16th April 1991.

"Stanegarth" laid up at Sharpness in 1999. It was later scuttled as an attraction for divers at Stoney Cove in June 2000.

Former British Waterways tug
Former British Waterways tug "Freight Mover" laid up at Purton on 17th June 2007. This vessel was built by JW Cook at Wivenhoe in 1968 as the "Plausible" for the Port of London Authority.
